Adobe and NVIDIA Partner on Firefly, 3D Twins, and Creative AI

The companies are combining Firefly, accelerated computing, OpenUSD, and Omniverse libraries to build new creative models, agent workflows, and brand-preserving 3D product twins.

Adobe and NVIDIA announced a strategic partnership on March 16 covering the next generation of Firefly models, creative agents, cloud media workflows, and 3D digital twins.

Adobe plans to use NVIDIA computing and libraries including CUDA-X, NeMo, Cosmos models, and the NVIDIA Agent Toolkit across creative and marketing products.

Creative models with more control

The companies say their joint work will focus on model precision, responsiveness, and controllability for image, video, audio, vector, and 3D production.

Firefly Foundry will use the infrastructure to support custom enterprise models tuned on proprietary brand or franchise material. The aim is to generate content that remains recognizable and consistent across a large production pipeline.

3D twins for products and commerce

A public-beta 3D digital twin system combines Adobe workflows with NVIDIA Omniverse libraries, OpenUSD data interchange, RTX rendering, and cloud streaming.

The digital twin acts as a persistent virtual identity for a physical product. Brands can use the same controlled model for pack shots, lifestyle imagery, configurable 3D experiences, and virtual try-on instead of rebuilding the product for each channel.

The design-system implication

Digital twins extend design systems beyond interface components. Geometry, materials, lighting rules, approved views, and brand constraints become reusable production assets.

That promise depends on interoperability and governance. A useful twin needs reliable source data, clear ownership, version control, and outputs that remain accurate enough for commerce and marketing decisions.
